Results and prospects of work with gifted children
for the fourth quarter of the 2022-2023 academic year
Work with gifted children is carried out at the legislative level on the basis of the Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 7, 2011 No. 514 "On approval of the list of national and international Olympiads and competitions of scientific projects (scientific competitions) in general subjects, competitions of performers, competitions of professional skills and sports competitions".
Goals and objectives of working with gifted children:
- development of creative abilities;
- deepening of theoretical knowledge and practical skills;
- promotion of personal self-realization;
- creating conditions for identifying gifted children,
- selection and preparation of students for participation in international Olympiads, increasing the prestige of education in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Today, the promotion of teachers who have brought up talented children - winners of competitions and Olympiads is legally fixed. Every year, 64 winners of the republican contest "The Best teacher-2021" receive monetary rewards in the amount of 1000 MCI. For outstanding achievements and special services to the country, 26 teachers have the honorary title of "Kazakstannyn enbek sinirgen ustazy" with a one-time payment in the amount of 1000-fold MCI. This is a great motivation when working with gifted children.
Six pupils of our school in August 2022, based on their achievements, were included in the project "EL UMITI" of the international educational and methodological scientific and Innovative Academy for the development of Education, Science and Culture "Altyn Globus". Their names and achievements will be included in the encyclopedia "National Anthology of gifted Children":

The most important means of developing a child's giftedness is holding subject Olympiads. The Olympiad develops students' interest in the subject, introduces them to non-traditional tasks and questions, awakens a desire to work with additional literature, forms independent work skills, helps to unleash creative potential.
The participation of gifted children in Olympiads helps to show the importance of the subjects studied at school, enriches the quality of education, allows you to plan individual work with talented students and show parents the prospects for the development of the child.
Olympiads summarize all academic and extracurricular work in the subjects studied and make it possible to compare the quality of training and development of students.
It is the Olympiads that allow the student to know and express himself, give the opportunity to assert himself. Even the most insignificant achievements give rise to a student's faith in his abilities.
Thus, for the 1st quarter of the 2022-2023 academic year, the number of school students who became winners and prize-winners of various intellectual competitions and Olympiads of different levels is 16 people. Of these:
- winners and prize –winners of city Olympiads - 8 people .
- winners and prize –winners of regional Olympiads - 3 people .
- winners and prize–winners of international remote intellectual games and competitions - 5 people.
Work with gifted children at KSU "Secondary School No. 32"
An important aspect of the scientific and methodological activity of the school is the work of teachers with gifted children: identification, training, education and support of gifted children, improving the social status of a creative personality.
The school is working purposefully to identify and develop children's giftedness. This academic year, one of the new pedagogical technologies of working with gifted children was chosen – the Technology of self-exploration.The analysis of the responses of 36 respondents who are regular participants in various Olympiads and competitions, are included in the database of gifted children of North Kazakhstan region. To prepare the students of our school for the Olympiads of different levels, on the initiative of the director of the school Martemyanov S.V., in 2019. The school intellectual Olympiad "Edelweiss" has been established and is held annually, its tasks are as close as possible and focused on NICHE tasks.

There is a tendency to decrease the number of students at the city stage due to the fact that the school is represented by students who, according to the results of the school Olympiad, won only 1st places.
